2018 Candidate Forum: Unicameral, Legislative District 20

The League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha held a moderated candidate forum for the candidates for Nebraska state senate/Unicameral in district 20. The candidates are Jackie Collett, Chris Anne Dienstbier and John McCollister. Following the May 15 primary election, the top two vote-getters of these three candidates will continue to the general-election ballot in November.

The League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha held a moderated candidate forum for the candidates for Omaha Public Power District, Subdivision 1. Candidates participating in the forum are: Amanda Bogner, Dustin Jennings and Mark Treinen. Kristine Dungan was unable to attend. Following the May 15 primary election, the top two vote-getters of these four candidates will continue to the general-election ballot in November.

2018 Candidate Forum: U.S. Senate (Democratic Candidates)

The League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha, along with the Omaha Press Club, co-hosted a moderated candidate forum for Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate. Candidates participating were: Chris Janicek, Larry Marvin and Frank Svoboda. Jane Raybould was unable to attend. The winner of the May 15 primary election will advance to the November general election.

2018 Candidate Forums: Douglas County Assessor Register of Deeds (Republican Candidates)

The League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha held a moderated candidate forum for the candidates on the 2018 Republican primary ballot for the office of Douglas County Assessor/Register of Deeds. The candidates are Walt Peffer and Kris Pierce. The winner of this primary race will go on to appear on the ballot in the general election in November.

The incumbent Douglas County Assessor/Register of Deeds, Diane L. Battiato, is a Democrat who will automatically advance to the general election.
