A new self-serve farm stand will open Aug. 9 at 77 Old Lincoln Highway in Crescent, Iowa.
Little Roots Market is the first such venture from the owners of J & A Treasures and Bros’ Candy. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
It will sell fresh produce, a variety of sweet baked goods, wood decor from J & A and freeze-dried treats from Bros’.
Everything will be either homemade or homegrown.
After the grand opening on Aug. 9, the market will also operate on Aug. 23 and Aug. 30 and 31.
Owners are asking for grand-opening reservations on their Facebook page so they can know how much merchandise to bring.
